WHO WE ARE
Hi, my name is Zachary Hashemian, I am an 11th-grader at Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa Florida, and this is my Foundation. The idea came along when I was doing community service work at a local school in my area and I found out that a lot of children are not in the best of financial situations. When I did some further research about other schools in the Tampa Bay Area, I found that many children do not have three meals to eat every day. Here at Zach Packs, we are driven by one thing: To make sure that every child has three nourishing meals every day in order for them to focus more on their education than to worry about where their next meal will come from. We know that we cannot change funding for certain jobs or the funding for public school lunches but, we can fill backpacks with food and give them to children in need. I hope you decide to come along on this amazing journey.
ACTIVITIES
Zach Packs is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing a strong and forward approach to solving one of society's biggest challenges today, making sure that no child goes hungry. We stuff backpacks with food and other necessities such as hygiene products and winter clothing and give them to children in need. If you have any suggestions such as outreach events, or ways to improve in general please leave them down below. Finally, we are always looking for donations of supplies such as non-perishable food items, winter clothing, and monetary donations. Thank you for your help!
